The Horne Advantage

Working at the forefront of science and technical engineering, the employees of Horne International deliver uniquely engineered solutions — uniquely engineered to solve the seemingly unsolvable…manage the unpredictable…break down technology boundaries…break through communication barriers...and anticipate problems before they impact the mission.

Beyond providing uniquely engineered solutions, we’re also uniquely qualified to get the job done. Our team includes civil, environmental, mechanical, chemical, and software engineers…health and safety specialists… business process experts…and many former high-ranking members of the U.S. military.

At Horne, our work is diverse and complex, and the projects we tackle often present one-of-a-kind challenges. But the common denominator is always a mix of engineering expertise and a relentless commitment to quality, performance, and integrity.

Horne has built a reputation for quality and integrity on a simple credo: Get it done…make it work…do it right. From concept to construction, from design to delivery. Whatever your challenge, you can count on Horne.

That’s the Horne Advantage.

Customer Spotlight

Missile Defense

The mission: At Fort Greely, Alaska, the Missile Defense Agency and the U.S. Corps of Engineers are hard at work on a program to defend the United States against a ballistic missile attack. One of the government’s most daunting challenges, the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense program is focused on developing capabilities to intercept long-range missiles mid-flight — before they harm U.S. interests.

Uniquely engineered: Horne is playing a key role in the construction of the highly complex missile defense facilities in Alaska. Our team provides guidance and specialized expertise in contract administration, quality assurance, and project controls for this mission-critical, $400-million, fast-track program.
